General Rules and Safety

Hit Detection

• A BB hit on any part of player or gear counts as a hit

• Ricochets do not count as hits

• Gun hits do not count as hits

• When hit:

  • Shout "hit"
  • Display bright-colored dead rag or hold hand up
  • Return to respawn area

Parlay Rules

• If two players shoot each other simultaneously:
  • Both players are considered "hit"
  • Both must call their hits and follow standard hit procedures
  • No arguments about who shot first - mutual elimination applies

Respawn Rules

• After being hit, proceed to your team's designated respawn area
• Touch respawn area to re-enter the game

Engagement Rules

• No blind firing - always verify your target
• Safety kills:
  • Within 10 feet of unaware enemy
  • Not applicable if both players aware and aiming
• Stealth kills:
  • Must be close enough to touch enemy
  • Tap shoulder and announce kill

Field Rules

• Do not shoot players who are:
  • Out of bounds
  • Wearing dead rag
  • Otherwise indicating "out of play"
• Must return to respawn point to re-enter game
• Special equipment (pyrotechnics, lasers, etc.) requires field owner and admin permission
